8 Of The Best Travel Sized Beauty Products, If You Aren’t Ready To Splurge On The Full Size

My beauty wish list is yet again overflowing with some of the most raved about beauty products.

As much as I’d like to do a big splurge and treat myself (every day is a treat yo’self kinda day) the only thing coming in-between me and my new purchases is my lack of funds.

As much as I wish I could justify spending £60+ on a single product that I am yet to try, my bank account is just not set up like that.

However, in order to figure out whether a product is worth saving for or putting on my birthday list, I like to try out the travel-size version if it’s available.

Remember, travel-sized products aren’t just specifically for a holiday.

Here are 8 of the best travel-sized beauty products, if you aren’t ready to splurge on the full size.

Paula’s Choice – Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant £10

Paula’s Choice Liquid Exfoliant is one of the most hyped and best-selling products around. It’s gentle and lightweight and is great at removing dead skin cells for more radiant-looking skin. It’s ideal for blemish-prone, oily and combination types but still can be used by all skin types. It’s formulated with BHA (salicylic acid) and anti-inflammatory properties to help reduce blackheads, blemishes and redness.

REN Clean Skincare – Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic £15

A toner can be a perfect addition to any skincare routine, whether morning or night. This one by REN is great for anyone wanting to achieve a glowy and smooth look to skin that might be looking a little dull. It gently exfoliates congested skin and removes any impurities to restore radiance.

Glossier – Milky Jelly Cleanser £8

The Milky Jelly Cleanser is a favourite of mine. It’s a gentle-yet-effective creamy gel cleanser suitable for all skin types. It’s great for morning use on wet skin for a super refreshed feel or on dry skin in the evenings to remove makeup, sunscreen and impurity build-up.

Urban Decay –  All Nighter Setting Spray £12

The All Nighter Setting Spray continues to be one of the most hyped setting sprays to date and it’s not hard to figure out why. Its long-lasting formulas will keep your makeup from budging for up to 16 hours, it’s a simple case of spritz, set and go and is suitable for all skin types.

NARS – Climax Mascara £9.50

One of my go-to products this lockdown has hands down been mascara. Sometimes the only thing that will brighten up my day is a volumised lash look. The Climax Mascara will give you a volumised and super buildable look from root to tip without clumping or smudging. I’ll happily make my purchase, even if it’s just for the name.

Estée Lauder – Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II £12

The Estée Lauder night repair range is one of the most notable ranges to date. Whether it’s an eye concentrate on your list or a serum like this one to give you plumped and smooth looking skin, Estée Lauder has your back. The 30ml, 50ml and 75ml bottles range anywhere from £60 to £105. Whilst extremely hefty, the mini version will make you realise why it’s so loved. Even if you don’t fancy spending your hard-earned coins on the full-size, the mini 7ml could be a recurring purchase for you.

Too Faced – Better Than Sex Mascara £12

If you’ve always wondered whether the Better Than Sex Mascara is *actually* better than sex but didn’t fancy parting with £22 for an anti-climax than the 4.8ml tube for £12 is here to save the day. Its formulation thickens, lengthens and curls lashes in just one coat. It’s so good it’ll leave you wanting more.

MAC – Mini Lipstick £12

MAC lipsticks will always have a place in my makeup bag, having been a firm favourite for almost a decade. Whether it’s Ruby Woo to take me from day to night, Velvet Teddy to reminisce about or Lady Danger to stand out, I’ll always want a shade nearby. Whilst £17.50 on a single lipstick can’t always be justified, the mini 1.8g versions are just as good as the originals!
